Cleaning the Hearing Aid:

1. Wipe down the hearing aid at least twice a week – this can be done with a tissue, cloth or alcohol wipes and stops wax buildup

2. Every time the hearing aid is removed from the ear, check to see if the hearing aid, dome or mould is blocked with wax a. Brush the mould, dome or hearing aid with tool provided b. Use a tissue to remove excess wax c. If wax is still present, use the wax-pick provided to remove the wax

3. If the hearing aid is not working well or not working at all, look at the waxguard (either on the end of the hearing aid or under the silicone dome) a. Replace the waxguard if blocked with wax
b. This should be done every 1-2 months (more often if there is significant wax build-up) Replacing the Drying Capsule:

4. When to change the drying capsule: A new capsule is orange/yellow – when it changes colour to milky white, replace with a new capsule
