How to Pair Phonak or Unitron Hearing Aids to your Smart Phone

TO PAIR YOUR PHONE TO YOUR HEARING AIDS:

Download The Correct App From The App Store

 Go To The Phone’s Home Screen And Tap On The “Settings” Icon.

 In The Settings Menu, Tap On The Bluetooth Icon.

 Turn Your Hearing Aids Off Then On Again

 Tap On The Slider Button To Turn Bluetooth On.

 You Will Now See A Message, “Available Devices.”

 The Name Of Your Hearing Aids Will Appear On The Screen With A Telephone Icon Next To It. Tap On It To Select.

 A Connection Beep Will Be Heard In The Paired Hearing Aid/Aids.

 Your Phone Is Now Connected To Your Hearing Aids If You Don’t Want The Phone To Ring Through The Hearing Aids For Calls:

 Go to the Phone’s Settings icon

 Click on Accessibility

 Click on Touch

 Click on Call Audio Routing

 Click on Speaker so the phone doesn’t ring through the hearing aids

TO PAIR WITH THE APP: Open the Hearing Aid App and follow instructions on HOW TO PAIR It should connect automatically.
